WHITLEY BAY FILM FESTIVAL
Set up in 2010 with a mission to stage something extraordinary in our seaside town, the Festival maintains a fiercely independent approach to arts programming of unique and exciting cultural events. From the humble origins of organising a screening of Jaws on the local beach, the Festival has gone from strength-to-strength and now delivers a celebrated annual programme of films in unique settings with an imaginative and innovative ethos.

RAY JACKSON ART
Erstwhile singer/musician with the mighty Lindisfarne, Ray now specialises in capturing the liveries of buses from a bygone age in various media. Seems to know his RAL colours too.
Our award-winning magical friend comes highly recommended by his grandmother, it says here.
Steve Drayton is a producer at BBC Radio Newcastle and parades his alter ego, Mr Drayton, as a comedy variety act.
A freelance writer, writing sleevenotes for many record labels (there are prog fans out there who buy CD reissues just for these), and contributions to national press and TV, Sid was also co-author of the book Northstars (2005).
